Question about PzC:AK and DLC

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

Question about PzC:AK and DLC

Post by Ashtur »

Can you go from Afrika Korps into the 42-43W DLC with the core units from AK? Or are they two different things? (I know you can import from your '41 DLC)

I have a friend trying to decide what to use with a Gift Certificate, and I couldn't answer the question (as I'm slowly working through the Eastern DLC before I look at AK or the west)

AK is a completely self-contained campaign. Neither you can import a core-force from one of the Grand Campaign DLC's, nor can you export your AK force to be used in any of the current available DLC's.

The only possible switch from a theater of war is as far I know from a DLC 41 East core force to 42/43 West DLC.

That's what I kind of figured, but I wanted to be sure. Thank you very much.
