Strike, strike, strike! [&o]

How will we get rid of our low-yield nuclear waste now, if not in Twinkie filling? [:(]

The same way you always have. Dump them over Spain...

Is that a policeman, who immediately starts shooting? [X(]

Nope, dont think so. Looks like your average neighborhood "razborki" (loosely translated as sorting things out).

You know, it reminds me that I never did see any reference to Twinkies in the Fallout games. Of all the places one would show up, you'd think that'd be it.

In Fallout 3 there were several different kinds of pre-war foods that you could find (but no Twinkies). I refused to eat any of it as it had to be nasty 200 years after the war.

Yep. Various canned items. One certainly has to be Spam. I think another is the generic microwavable dinner. Another is I think supposed to by a pun at pop tarts/toaster strudels (Fancy Ladies' Snack Cakes). No Twinkies though. I think the radroaches ate 'em [:D]

Fancy Ladies Snack Cakes are obviously Dolly Madison Cupcakes (a brand from the Virginia/Maryland area).

There is no way that the Salibury Steak is a "microwaveable dinner" - remember, the Fallout world had been stuck in the 1950s. It was just your classic TV Dinner to be heated in your oven (provided it still has a pilot light!).

Valid point on the Salisbury steak. Didnt know about the cupcakes. [&o]

Blamo Mac & Cheese and InstaMash are pretty self explanatory.

Any guesses on the Dandy Boy Apples and the Yum Yum Deviled Eggs?

Hail the Thread and all here in (how Shakespearean). I hear Twinkies mentioned tonight; I deep-fry them and then you have a square meal. [;)]

I have just started a new Pbem, and I'm waiting for the first turn to come back. I always play as the Allies, so waiting for the turn; is sort of like bending over, and waiting for your opponent to kick you in the pants. [:D]

I moved from Virginia to Georgia in 1976 (and out here in 1989), so my memory is spotty on some of the local foods. The only apple products company I recall is White House out of Winchester and I don't recall any packaged deviled eggs. Sorry...

I do, however, seriously miss Mrs Fearnow's Hope Farm Brunswick Stew.

Morning, but not a good one. Awake in the middle of the night and in pain. Hoping the killers kick in quick. [:(]
