Well, Cap'n, the first post on this excellent "World's Worst" AAR was posted in January 2010. Very nearly 3 years ago! Hard to imagine...

I'm sure that your AAR will take more than another year to finish, perhaps as many as 7 years in total at this pace. In any case, I wanted to thank you for your contributions to our sanity by wishing you another "Four more years!" of happy returns. [&o]

All together now:

Four more years!
Four more years!
Four more years!

[:D]

I'll just leave quietly then shall I?

Depends. Do you object to the sight of blood and internal organs?

Moana: Time travel thing again? You didn't go back to 2012 again did you, boss?

FAM: Well, not that I can recall.

Moana: I'll get you a Bloody Mary and some aspirin.

FAM: Easy on the celery salt, Moana, thanks. That MSG will kill you. And find out where.....<looks at notes> Ir-i-o-mo-tay is. Thanks. You're a dear.

Dear Sir,

I am glad to hear that your studio audience disapproves of the last skit as strongly as I. As a naval officer I abhor the implication that the Royal Navy is a haven for cannibalism. It is well known that we now have the problem relatively under control, and that it is the RAF who now suffer the largest casualties in this area. And what do you think the Argylls ate in Aden. Arabs?

Yours etc.,

If you equate humans with other animals, yes. Based on the current election results sheep would seem to be a reasonable approximation.

Politically indoctrinated 11 year old: Mom, you shouldn't vote for Romney. My teacher told us he wants to take from the poor. [:@]

SG: <steam coming out of ears> Captain! Get in here and explain it to her!

FAM: Well, sweetheart, you have to consider that your teacher may have a hidden motive for telling you guys that.......<discussion of public union pensions and the stimulus package and involuntary diversion of union dues to support the machine ensues....it is a complete failure. She looks at speaker like he is from Mars....speaker decides to try a more concrete analogy>

Well, look sweetheart, you know you spent time getting all dressed up and then spent two hours going door to door on Halloween and got all that cool candy?

Politically indoctrinated 11 year old: YEAH! I got 4 full sized Snickers!

FAM: FANTASTIC! And you should be proud of your work! Now imagine that the kid next door doesn't even get dressed up or go out trick or treating but when you get home, the President GIVES half your candy to the kid next door!

Politically indoctrinated 11 year old: THAT'S NOT FAIR!

FAM: My work is done here.............

Oil: No doubt about it now. JJ is picking up oil from the Eastern Borneo ports. Tankers are skittering Northward along both sides of Mindanao. JJ has sustained considerable losses in this effort, both from subs, which can now be vectored in from air sightings and from the group that strayed within SBD range of Ternate. What is wrong with Palembang or Northern Borneo? Perhaps they want to get out what they can.

Targets: JJ is reinforcing (I assume) Palau. Not a bad move. It would a very valuable asset, but no way to take a considerable force there without getting it killed unitl the Essex class carriers start arriving or the carriers come back from the Sumatra landing. I have ordered a recon B-24 squadron to take some pics of Djangas in SW Mindanao today. One of the dot bases in the Celebes Sea turned green so I ordered some landing craft under a Lt Jg to take some Sea Bees there to start building a strip. 503rd PIR assembling at Ternate for another drop in the Celebes Sea...well technically, we hope to hit one of the islands.

Sulawese: The strip at Sidate is at 68% readiness and buidling fast. Avaition support tlanding there today. When we have top cover, 2 USMC Regts will embark via amphibious group and land there. They are prepped 100% for Manado adn will march in.

Northern Oz: A Jap ground unit is marching on Derby from Broome. We have a USMC Regt at Derby plus some aviation spport. An Aussie reserve infantry brigade is 2 or 3 days down the trail to the SE. Oops. Didn't think they would try this. Forts are at zero. We have been building up the airfield. Flew in some B-26's to attack the approaching LYB's and the B-24's from Darwin will join in.
