Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: The German-Soviet War 1941-1945 is a turn-based World War II strategy game stretching across the entire Eastern Front. Gamers can engage in an epic campaign, including division-sized battles with realistic and historical terrain, weather, orders of battle, logistics and combat results.

The critically and fan-acclaimed Eastern Front mega-game Gary Grigsby’s War in the East just got bigger and better with Gary Grigsby’s War in the East: Don to the Danube! This expansion to the award-winning War in the East comes with a wide array of later war scenarios ranging from short but intense 6 turn bouts like the Battle for Kharkov (1942) to immense 37-turn engagements taking place across multiple nations like Drama on the Danube (Summer 1944 – Spring 1945).

aye. i simply wanted to say him that he should train a bit against the AI before playing the germans in a servergame. i mean with not a single pocket in turn 1 you are doomed as german player.

You may have to go on to the Slitherine web site to find him as he may not be a member of this forum ( server games are played through Slitherine & not Matrix)

yeah, I'm playing him too. Turn 7 and he hasn't moved the Finns yet.

A big difference from the pasting you gave me bigbaba. That was the worst hammering I'd received in a long time. I'll practice some more then offer you a rematch.

He continually puts out new challenges and apart from Jimbo123 (we often turned around 2-3 turns in a day) he turns around a turn much faster than any other opponent I have on the server. So he must spend a lot of time at this, he will get there eventually. I don't consider myself much better than "practiced newbie" in PBEM/server games.

Me too but take Minsk only after three turns, without do any major encirclement is very strange, after you play so many matchs.

I resigned from the match, if really he is playing so many matchs and plays so strange after that, he don't taking it seriously in my opinion I don't have the time to permit myself funny games

I am playing against him too. He is obviously still learning the game,
but he is reliable and he certainly does not give up.

if you want learn you try to play one match for time: it is not possible think he's playing seriously when with the german after 15 minutes I have a new turn, where the troops move of 4 or 5 hexes. After I started my game with him, he asked immediately for a new

He certainly does not give up. Its April 1942 and I have caused the surrender of every Axis country except Germany and I am half way across the fatherland to Berlin.

I keep thinking he will surrender but to my surprise he keeps sending me turns.

This Guy's modus operandi sounds familiar, used to a 'Mikey' on the old WitP forum years ago, that used to do the same-thing.
