Vote for a separate mod thread

Post by Templer_12 »

I make the proposal to separate a closed thread exclusive for the mods.

In this mod - thread, set exclusively the mods, the links to download the mods and perhaps the links to the description of the mods.
Nothing else! [:-]

It's getting confusing here.

I agree, but i also think all the mods should be uploaded to Vic's site once finished and the authors are happy with them. I thinks its confusing because things are so fluid and they work so fast[&o] . If any of the mods that they have worked on are completed in there mind then i hope they take the time to upload to Vic's site so people have one place to go.

??? We are already in the Mods and Scenarios Forum. I setup a separate modders thread yesterday for modders discussions only.

I will add my mods to the DC site when they are completed.

Vic started to move such threads on top of the side. but if you want to try another mod like in two years time the advanced tactics hosting site with search function, tags and what not will be the way to go

Sure, but for now I need collaboration and user feedback, which I can only get in a forum

I talk about a topic, a sticky, a top pinned or whatever you call it otherwise.
Just a closed thread only for links - No discussion, spamming, thanks in there.

But they are already there as 'sticky' threads at the top of the Modding and Scenarios page...

My mod download thread asks people not to comment, but I can't stop them from doing that. However, I do keep all the download info in the first post and it gets updated when the mod changes.
