Krupp's Graphix edition V2

Introducing Krupp's Graphix edition V2 and
RRRH-Sr graphix edition V2 mod

Image

About Graphix V2
Handmade and color touched, most textures have been saturated, contrasted, "de-vibranced" and re-hued, incorporating elements of the original art to try to "keep the feel"
Special attention was provided to try to keep terrain types identifiable in this version as well as keep appealing graphix. Thanks to Templar who pointed out the needed improvement. While i did have to sacrifice a level of detail to remove the 'bumpy look' i kept as much as i thought i could.

Stand alone (Krupp Graphix V2 mod) includes:
-(new)Hand painted plains; mud, snow and normal. (some elements from original art used).
-(new)Re-contrasted forests. All types
-(new)Re-contrasted hills. Plain and snow (not mud yet).
-(new)Contrasted forest hills, plain, mud and snow
-(new)Repainted swamps (all)
-(new)Incorporated and fine tuned hex transitions for all above..
-Old but added permanently to graphics out of necessity of cooperation RRR part of RRRH mod. (which includes of course roads rails and rivers (necessary because of the coloring.) (shroud, shade and hex shader come with the RRRH_Sr mod, Or with any RRRH_Sr Graphix ed mod, or independently.)

About RRRH-Sr
Now you can survey the map with ease seeing the roads rails and rivers, it should be much easier to tell river sizes apart and see where the roads are
(especially zoomed out more) and the hex's are shaded so they dont stick out so much, so you have a better time.
Now added reduced shroud so you can plan your panzer attacks deep behind enemy lines without squinting to see the terrain.
Krupp RRRH-Sr Graphix ed2 includes all the above plus
-shroud shader and hex shader
-reduced drummer noise

To install: Preferably use a program like JSGME to enable the mod
(see **Budd's** excellent instructions in this thread tm.asp?m=3149007)

JSGME Download:
http://www.gamefront.com/files/21681483/JSGME.7z

You can use 7zip free zip program to unzip mod
http://www.7-zip.org/download.html

If you do not want to use JSGME than just drop the Graphics folder into your main directory after unzipping where the graphics folder is already located and overwrite old files (this means you have to have your old graphics folder present and named the same "Graphics" When you drag and drop)
BEFORE you drag and drop, I highly recommend making a backup your original graphics folder before install by copying and pasting it as another name. You will still need to keep the original folder there as this mod only includes changed files to save space.

(mod should be compatible with multiplayer or other graphics mods (provided other graphic mods do not edit any of the same files.)

(If you want to delete something form the mod before install it should not cause any issues.)

The maps have become well. Have become very good. [&o]

But in the winter map I have to complain now that on the village squares, even at maximum zoom, I can't see any Christmas trees.

Where to go krupp_88mm? Where to go?

As Flaviusx has said in a post somewere: Someone should pay you for your commitment.

Absolutely outstanding! Now if you could create some correct NATO symbols for the unit types within the Divisions my life will be complete.

Awesome everyone likes it so far, even the king has been almost pleased!

It seems alot of people want nato counters modded? I'm afraid not all the tools needed to mod this is not entirely provided. But I may have thought of a crazy way to circumvent on part of the restriction. It might help me if someone could draw what they are talking about in paint that they want the marker to look like in all three zoom levels because i'm not really getting what precisely people want changed.

Regardless i have been neglecting my chores now and i've got to get some real work done. I just realized i missed jury duty yesterday, i was modding instead. I wonder if they will understand my excuse. So ill see you all later. have fun.

Very impressive work. Especially in fully zoomed in mode.

Dont be a stranger to ask for any info on the engine/editor! Or even a small feature request.

Best,

Very nice, thanks! I only substituted the hex rasters with more darker versions.
