Germany verus Greece could be a fiery match.
I tend to find that anything involving the Greeks is pretty dull - but fair play, they do what works for them and at least they have previously won the tournament - unlike some nations I could name...[8|]
I think he is referencing the financial situation with Angela Merkel and the Greeks.

Sigh, well so Denmark is out.
It's okay - Germany was the better team - I think they will go all the way this year.
But I still think it wouldn't have been completely unfair if we had grabbed the second quarter-final spot from Portugal.
Complete disaster for Holland - such a great team, so much potential and still, nothing.
I'm looking forward to follow the valiant Greek team - always great to have an underdog to cheer for.
For me, Spain is still a joker. Tonight will show whether the spaniards have what it takes this year to seriously threaten Germany. If they walk over Croatia, they will make the germans pretty nervous. But they need to be more effective and a little more direct in their game when they take on Germany.
I'm hoping England goes through too - they're always fun to follow, in good times as well as bad.
Welbecks goal vs. Sweden is a classic.
So, although Denmark's out , there's still a lot of great football waiting in the coming days.

I have no idea what you are talking about - England have never had good times [:(] [;)]
Sorry about Denmark - definitely had a penalty shout when Bendtner was pulled back at 1-1. That was a let off for Germany.

No footie for me yesterday, GF had her birthday and invited a few, 30-40, friends over to BBQ then watch the match. ME? well I had to attend the grill and watch over the Bratwurst and steaks. 40 people do eat a lot I noticed. Well at 20:00 there're all satisfied and start getting gettin ready to watch the match, I sneak off into the kitchen to do the dishes. Dish washer going full speed me at the sink doing the rest.
Then I think shall I go and watch the match, but decide against it. NO WAY am I going to sit in front of my telly with 40 germans cheering on their team. No I sneak back into the kitchen and carry on working.
Tonight is a different story, my GF has invited her class over for the years finishing BBQ. She is a teacher so I 'll be back in the kitchen tiding up again.
No I am not a glutton for punishment and I do have a say at home, even if it is a small word. But all I do now is awarding me brownie points for when I want to sit down and spend hours doing "nothing" just starring at my pc screen watching icons move and disappear.
I'll have the radio on, any ideas which radio station to tune into for tomorrows England match? Remeber I am sat here deep in enemy territory, Lower Saxony Germany.
Oh yeah, looks like me and W1 are the big losers of the Euro 2012 so far.

Best wishes,
Steve

Mat,
or you could watch the games on the BBC website. They've all been shown live so far. You will probably need to use a UK proxy though.

Spain is not about "direct" football. It's about having the ball and be patient. Even if you don't score there is a good thing many people forget: if you have the ball the other team hasn't it = they will hardly score [;)] What makes the Germans nervous? The previous matches in the last WC and Euro Cup vs Spain...

For a neutral side the English team is fun to watch. They try to win their matches, don't park the bus: they are generous that is. Now, if you're English I understand you may suffer [:D]
As I predicted, the Croatians are a good team. Anything could happen. Italy, Spain or Croatia out!
