Strategic War in Europe (Wastelands Interactive)?

Just wondering if Matrix will be carrying this one? Don't think it was listed as an upcoming title from the recent press event. Thanks....

Yes, I know about ToF, and yes they seem similar, but this seems to be a new game perhaps?

With a hex map that is only 68x47 this may be a simpler version of TOF for the Risk / Stratego crowd. But I don't know for sure.

Yes, it's a new game but it's the same old game. Time of Fury is basically the same thing as Time of Wrath and you can see the same menus and icons and graphics in the new game. I'm sure they will add some stuff to it but basically if you like the first two you will probably like the third - if you don't like the system not much is going to change to make you love it.

Yeah that surprised me too, I couldn't find anything that this new title was intended for handhelds or tablets only...?

I wish they'd roll this out on Android or iOS - seems small enough for that

We are going to release the game on PC first. Other platforms depends on the sales level.

Doom,
With a map this small it's a perfect fit for tablets. What are the units? Army an corp sized units?

Looking at one of the screenies, I see xxxx's and xxx's so yeah, armies and corps. Can't tell if there is stacking though. Seems like you would need it at this scale or you wouldn't have room for all your units.

Iain, could you please check if the game runs on 1024 x 600 (netbook)?

Thanks

@Doomtrader...

Not sure if it's me only, but in the previous games i have almost no music running in the background...i think it would be nice if it did.

I agree with Von. I can't see why I would buy this game unless of course it was released on tablet form. It looks like a scaled down version of TOF. TOF is one of my favorite games to play. Why would I want a lesser version of that game?
