Sound problem

Post by Wolfie1 »

I have just had to reinstall WitP following a computer crash, when I install the vanilla version from the disc (1.21) everything works fine, as soon as I patch it (1.804) I lose all the sound[&:] Any suggestions anyone?

You have to install not only 1.804 but 1.806 in addition.
I am not sure 1.804 can work alone.
Is is only a suggestion, i have never had such a trouble.

Make sure that you follow the proper install path or it won't work.

It's entirely possible that you have a corrupted sound file.  Try downloading the patch again and reinstall it.

I never thought that doing an AAR would be so time consuming and difficult.

Try posting this in tech support and you'll have a better chance of being helped.  When you do give your OS, sound card, etc to help with an answer.
