Battle of the Rhineland Mod

Post by Buck_Compton »

Hey Guys,

Pete and I have announced this mod a while ago on CCS but we tought it would fit to do the same here so we can keep you guys updated.

The mod encompasses operations Veritable, Blockbuster and Grenade in February and March 1945. It will be situated in the triangle of Aachen, Dusseldorf and Nijmegen. We've chosen to dedicate 32 maps to each side of the pincer attack the allies made in this region. You will be fighting in places as the Reichswald, Hochwald gap, the banks of the Rur or towns like Krefeld, Kleve, Goch and many others.

You will be commanding a large variety of forces especially on the German side such as Volkssturm and SS or Panzergrenadiere and FJ-troops. You will also have at your disposal much of the new equipment brought in to combat by the allies at that time. Even the infamous Cuckoo tank and of course the Pershing will join you in battle!

Operation Veritable
Operation Blockbuster
Operation Grenade

Cheers,

Buck

Hey Slpatgun,

Nothing realy much to be honest. We are busy winding things down on the Ortona project. I do have 50% of the maps in operation and a working stratmap but other than that...

Cheers

Buck
