destroy forts

destroy forts

When you abandon a fort, how do you destroy it? I'm sure it's out there somewhere and I'm just missing it, but I can't find it in the guide or forum. Thanks!

I think you can select it and hit the "disband" button, though it's been a while since I fired up the game so I could be wrong. Otherwise, those will stay there. But if there are no troops in them they'll have no impact.

But if there are no troops in them they'll have no impact.
Only as long as no enemy troops enter the province. If they do they will capture the fort intact without a fight. Needless to say, this could be inconvenient, so if you don't plan to occupy a fort you should destroy it.
