Command Ops: Highway to the Reich Is Now Available

Command Ops: Battles From The Bulge takes the highly acclaimed Airborne Assault engine back to the West Front for the crucial engagements during the Ardennes Offensive. Test your command skills in the fiery crucible of Airborne Assault’s “pausable continuous time” uber-realistic game engine. It's up to you to develop the strategy, issue the orders, set the pace, and try to win the laurels of victory in the cold, shadowy Ardennes.
Command Ops: Highway to the Reich brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden, covering every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem.

In addition, be sure to check out the brand new AAR and Scenario Feature at The Wargamer to see what Command Ops: Highway to the Reich has to offer.

About Command Ops: Highway to the Reich

As the first official expansion pack for the award winning Command Ops series, Command Ops: Highway to the Reich from acclaimed developer Panther Games brings us to the setting of one of the most epic and controversial battles of World War II: Operation Market-Garden. The Highway to the Reich expansion pack is a set of 13 scenarios covering all of the major actions that took place during the Market Garden Campaign in Holland during September 1944.

The scenarios cover every major engagement along Hell’s Highway, from the surprise capture of Joe’s Bridge by the Irish Guards a week before the offensive to the final battles on “The Island” south of Arnhem. The dramatic parachute and glider landings of the US 82nd and 101st Airborne, The British 1st Airborne and the Polish Brigade are all represented on some of the largest maps ever created for the series and the largest “campaign” scenario in this system to date. More than just a conversion of the old scenarios to play on the new system, the Expansion Pack represents a major update of Panther Games ground breaking classic game Highway to the Reich, incorporating numerous corrections to Maps, Orders of Battle, Unit Compositions, Reinforcement Schedules, and overall game play.

Command Ops: Highway to the Reich is an expansion for Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge and requires the base game to play.

Currently Paypal is not working on our Plimus store, but we are working on it.  We hope to have it available again in a few days.  We will definitely let everyone know when it is an option again.

Thanks

Been holding off on a couple of games, and now HTTR, waiting for PayPal's return ... less guilt as got my recirculating gaming money sitting in there.

Cheers

I also have to wait until PayPal can be used again. I only use the method of payment these days when I purchase online. Will be a tough wait, when they have no date on when it will be possible to use PayPal again.

Hi Harry,

As far as we can tell, everything is working fine, as we see PayPal orders are going through, but it's always possible that we missed something. If you experience any problems, can you please e-mail me at erikr@matrixgames.com with as much information as you have?

Regards,

Yes and no... you have to own the new CO:BFTB engine to play these 13 new, re-worked scenarios covering Operation Market Garden. The scenarios are based on the original ones found in AA:HTTR.

Is this Airborne Assault: Highway to the Reich 2nd Edition?

And no because many scenarios from the original AA:HTTR are missing!

You guys should advertise the fact that the original AA:HTTR is available as a bonus download for registered owners of this expansion. I just noticed that by chance, when going to the members section to download the strategy guide.

Even though it's outdated by now, it's still a good selling point, in my opinion, and I'm glad to be able to try out the original. Thanks!
