Endless loop in turn resolution

Post by SireChaos »

When I resolve the current turn in my PBEM with championzhao, I get stuck in an endless loop where the game tells me a number of officers (all but one of whom have names starting with "Tak" for some reason) are ready to be assigned; the names repeat in apparently random order. Well, technically I don´t know if it´s an endless loop, but I lost patience and quiet after about five minutes.

PBEM password available by PM.

You simply need a faster computer.  Heck, even my old box runs through an endless loop in under 12 seconds.[:'(]

Not much help I know.  Just couldn't resist.

The leader array looks like it has been corrupted.

Is there a solution for that?

Hmmm I think you have been told you have "astrocytic gliosis" and the Doctor has moved on not telling you if you are going to live ... [:D]

Only rolling back a turn and replaying it. It could have been a bad save/restore that did it.

One turn will be enough? I can safely assume that, if the previous turn resolved without a problem, the corruption hasn´t happened yet?

Thank you, I appreciate that. It can wait until after the holidays, though - I´d be too busy to play anyway.

Loaded and ran the save on r6 and it didn't appear to have any corruption.
