Eagle Day/Bombing of the Reich are also single day turns but not the ENTIRE war. Though it feels like it sometimes.

Wait, TOAW III's Fire in the East scenario had three-day turns. That felt epic too.

Well, the Hearts of Iron series represents WWII in real time and you can play every country in the world, even Costa Rica. In a scale like that however, the designers cannot get every detail right. The Pacific theater for example is a joke. But the land and air models are excellent.
