As I suspeced early on, the body of water that my home city is bordering on, is an isolated sea. Bad deal for me. So, it makes it even more urgent for me to capture and begin producing a navy at the latest find:

T10 SITREP:

I've gotten lucky this game, my home land mass has 4 cities, at least and I've found but not yet reached another crate. I've gone on a crash engineer building program to build infrastructure within my world.

I also built my first aircraft, mainly for exploration:

On this turn 11 it took 2:16 (minutes:seconds). I have sighted the first opposing regime, ironically they are not one of the ones that has declared war on me. Here's a shot of that initial spotting:

That is my turn, not sure how much time it's taking Bob, but he's not complaining. The new crate turned out to be a research lab, not sure what those do, but I guess we'll find out.

Thanks L.o.J, hopefully I can keep this up. Bob's facing a tough startling location and isn't getting much expansion in. He'[s still got his chin up though and seems to enjoy the challenge of it. That's how I feel too when I'm stuck in a tough spot. This time we don't have rampaging AI's running away with it. It seems we are not finding tough AI's.

But, time for the....turn 15 SITREP:

This will take several posts since my empire has expanded considerably. First, the Northern Central front:

And now the Central Eastern Front, showing the NME I've spotted and am building up for a war against. Just a few turns from now I'll be ready:

Those mercenaries are untried in battle and of questionable loyalty. I've completed a road network behind the line and I'm bringing in AC's all the way from the home city to bolster the line and hopefully provide some offensive punch. I am going to build an airbase along the road to allow my limited airforce to be some striking distance away. Hopefully this will be a short campaign.

The South Eastern Front:

As you can see from the NC and CE front pics, I've built a few destroyers as naval scouts. I will be seeing a lot more oceanic expansion now. One thing I don't like about the way ATG moves units is when you try and move through the shrouded areas. It forces you to stop on the first shroud hex and "hop" forward only though hexes you have unshrouded. I't a little click heavy and "stuttery" if that's a word.

In the next few rounds I'll post some overall shots and some details of how Bob is fairing.

Bob's having a tough time finding cities, he's a good sport though and he's still fighting it out. He's found a continent down South and invaded it here's a screen shot:

I have one city that was captured that was neutral when I bagged it but I think it was meant for the Peoples Republic. It can't produce SFT's but it can produce supply and resources, PP's too. Here's a screen summary:

I started up a war with the People's Rebublic who shares the same land mass with me. At first I did really well but this last turn I got stalled because I ran out of fuel for my planes and AC's. So, I've also found that the PR has a city on a neighboring island just East of the main one we both occupy right now.
