Supply Question #2

Post by sjadow »

I have 3 HQ's.. Supreme, 1HQ and 2HQ. Normally, 1HQ and 2HQ are subordinate to Supreme.

I read where it could be organized such that 2HQ reports to 1HQ, who in turn reports to Supreme. What would be the advantage in doing this (rather than having both report directly to Supreme).

I am ending up with some very strange supply situations and I'm trying to sort it out ....

Thanks ...

Well... there is one obvious advantage.

Each HQ has a supply range. So adding a middle HQ in effect extends that supply range. :)

If you had them both subordinated to the Supreme HQ, you could then use them as combat HQ's up close, (within like 3 hexes) of the fighting units. Then all your supply and new production could go directly to the supreme HQ.
History began July 4th, 1776. Anything before that was a mistake.
