I don't think I ever mentioned this...

Fans of the old Panzer General series rejoice for the release of Panzer Corps. Following in the footsteps of the popular SSI masterpiece and sharing with the General series the same level of engagement and strategic depth, Panzer Corps will keep an unmistakable "PG feeling" whilst improving and refining the gameplay and balance. Panzer Corps will feature 26 scenarios on 21 unique maps, covering most major battles of the European Theatre of World War II and including a few hypothetical 'what if' scenarios based on your actions. Now expanded with a full-war mega-campaign and the Afrika Corps and Allied Corps releases!

But you are to be congratulated on attemtping to make more interesting briefings.

One of my pet hates in the wargaming genre is bland briefings...there's no reason for it. Just because of the nature of the wargaming, doesn't mean we don't want some spark in them.

But next time, add some nice flashy scenario objective graphics to show where we are to go and what we are to achieve :-)

Just be thankful to our editors for not tearing up too much of it.  :D

As for flashy graphics, I think this sort of briefing would be awesome (the start of the video bit):

But it's a little too radical to implement into the game at this point.  lol

That adds so much to the briefing - definitely something that should be looked at to implement in the future. Curving, moving arrows and maybe even some animated graphics (explosions etc) could be done, too. I don't think it would be too much to add to the download or the load on system resources.

I'd be glad with just a small moving arrows in a map. It would add to the immersion.
But that requires some resources and time from the devs.
