Pre-purchasing Question

Commander – Europe at War Gold is the first in a series of high level turn based strategy games. The first game spans WW2, allowing players to control the axis or allied forces through the entire war in the European Theatre.

Pre-purchasing Question

Post by gsmart04 »

I'm an old board gamer from decades ago...grew up on Avalon Hill wargames. Later as the technology improved I've moved to computers. Marix Games sounds like its a possible source of gaming for me.

My question is: has anybody had any success running this game (and any others) on a Mac with Bootcamp and Windows 7?

This is my first post and I apologize if this is the wrong place to put it or if it has been asked before.

Sorry for the late response, I didnt see the post.

This game is already available natively for Mac - http://slitherine.com/games/ceaw_mac

The only issue is Mac is not so well supported and on goign development is primarily on PC.

A very active forum for PC & Mac CEAW is available here - http://slitherine.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=18

Ian,

Thanks for answering. What you said will have an influence on my decision as to which platform to run it on. Now that you mention its not so well supported, I am leaning towards Windows via Bootcamp.
