I need a Cold War game recommendation

Can anyone recommend a good Cold War, NATO vs. The Warsaw Pact PC Strategy game? The last one I played was a cold war mod based on a game called Strategic Command.

I'm not necessarily looking for any new games either older games (Cold War) I would equally enjoy

I asked the same question recently..there is Fulda Gap from HPS but Eric had reminded me of the Cold War scenarios that are located in the Operational Art of War III game.....those are the scenarios that I'm currently looking into....

Flashpoint Germany here or the Tiller games at HPS. You do not say what scale you like.

IMO your best bet is Fulda Gap, North German Plains or Danube Front from HPS. Operational level, full coverage of west germany invasion by the Warsaw Pact.

WinSPMBT is my choice for a tactical-level game (individual vehicles, sections and guns). The (perfectly adequate) FREE version of the game can be downloaded from here. WinSPMBT also covers nearly every major conflict since 1945: including the Arab-Israeli wars, Indo-Pak wars, Indochina wars, Korean War, Iran-Iraq war, Ogaden war and Gulf war).
