I had images of Kimmel, standing on the front grass looking out across the harbor, looking like Wylie Coyote staring after the Road Runner with his jaw in the dirt. Only 1 group of Kates dropped 800kg bombs, the rest were all torpedos.

But hey, it will keep the repair yards open!

Good lord, man. I suggest you open the "ship availability" screen and scroll down to late 1943 and 1944. Might improve morale after that pasting...

And to rub salt in the wound, in exchange for all that devastation your flak only brought down one lousy Kate.

Looks very ahistorical.

Wanted to chip in and cheer you up with the fact your repairyards would stay open for business. You already figured that out yourself so there's nothing left to lift your spirit. Hopefully the RN is in a better shape so you'll have at least a few heavy surface ships left in the IO.

I cannot remember who is was, but someone a few months ago posted a thread about how his Pearl Harbor fleet was hardly scratched. Boy, he was happy! [:D]

I guess everybody was at breakfast since there were only 28 casualties. Too bad we don't track "ship crew squads lost" when a ship goes down.

That is as bad as it gets. You are a hard luck case! I have just made a mental note never to get on the same airplane with you....[;)]

I noticed that as well. I would have expected these numbers to be higher. There was a lot of base damaged logged. I'll have to look through AAR's & see, this is my 1st time with the new beta patch.

In our 2x2 that happened to us. I don't think we lost a ship. [:)]

My worst start I had every BB,CA,CL and major aux sunk, then lost both the Enterprise and Lexington groups the next turn! (they turned into each other). And to add insult to injury I even lost Halsey![:(]

I've got orders to add chrome...lotsa chrome [:D]

I'm still curious about the light casualties. Am I missing something, or is this normal? Seems really, really light considering.
