Suggestion to add some automation in a PBEM game.

Post by Fred98 »

When you play a PBEM game, you can select some phases to be automated, thereby reducing the number of emails sent between the players. The current list is:

Direct Fire designation

Assault Defence designation

Withdrawl

Advances

However these items refer to both sides. I suggest the items be split to produce a new list.

Phasing Player Player Direct Fire designation

Phasing Player Withdrawl

Phasing Player Advances

Non-Phasing Player Direct Fire designation

Non-Phasing Player Withdrawl

Non-Phasing Player Advances

Non- Phasing Player Assault Defence designation

Hey Joe,

It's 4th of July weekend, and I doubt the developer is going to be around, if he's from the good old US of A.

Oops!! Better jump off...  [;)]

Anyone else have thoughts on this?  How'd you rate it's importance?  (I'm going to have to prioritize all these nice-to-haves...)

This would be a nice feature, and players can agree to it before the game starts.

As it stands for PBEM, I like having everything automated to keep the game flowing.
