Mouse sensitivity

Post by thewood1 »

I find my mouse incredibly sensitive in the game. I am not talking about scroll speed of the camera, but how the actual curser moves around. I have to really slow down and be careful to select menus and units. Is there a way to adjuat that sensitivity?

If it's not the scroll or zoom speed, then it may need adjusting in your Control Panel. If the mouse seems like it's "floating" then your FPS may be too low. Adjusting graphics settings in the initial configuration screen to be a bit lower should help. Turning off the vertical sync in your drivers may also help.

In the options on the main page try selecting use inverted mouse and see if that makes a difference.

No, its not floating nor the inverted mouse thing.  When compared to Windows desktop and other apps, it is way over-sensitive.  I move it 1/4 of an inch and it moves across the whole screen.  I'll play around with it.  It acvtually makes using my integrated touch pad on my laptop easier, but is a PAIN ON A REGULAR MOUSE.

Hm, very odd. I'm not seeing a difference in mouse sensitivity here and I'm not sure what would cause it to be overly sensitive like that. Does your mouse possibly have game-specific settings in its driver control panel?
