OT: NCAA Basketball Championship

That was absolutely horrible. The NCAA, the officials, and both teams should apologize to the entire nation and then commit seppuku.

Fortunately, I don't have television, so I didn't watch that bomb go off.

I've only seen the score, which was a complete blowout in favor of UConn. In addition it was a very low-scoring game, which usually means pretty dull. Putting those two tidbits together with the first post here, I deduced that the game must have been a real dud. I'm playing a hunch, but I think that's the case.

Yes, both teams played poorly, but Butler beat UConn in the race to the bottom. They hit I think 12 of 64 shots. I think there are soccer teams that do better than that.

It could be compared to an old joke. A train goes by and blows its whistle. UConn thinks it is halftime and leaves the court. 10 shots later Butler finally scores.

That is why Alabama and Kentucky should have been in the F4. Why Bama should have been put in the NCAA tourney! Too much political stuff going on with these selections!!!!

(OK - so I may be a little SEC biased), but FL and GA didn't do squat in the NCAA. Just sayin......

You guys should have watched the women's final. Much better game. And the Aggies won.
