My wife recently noted that "The CD seems to be dying" and prices are dropped. So I finally made a Walmart trip to stock up on stuff I lack. Spent about $95 for what must have been 15 CDs including, Greatest Hits compilations for:
Elvis
Roy Orbison
KISS
Jerry Lee Lewis
Hank Williams Jr.
Lynyrd Skynyrd
Rolling Stones

Also got Ozzy Blizzard of Ozz and AC/DC Back in Black.

Crazy Train and Back in Black are simply awesome tunes. I actually look forward to driving in to work cause I get a chance to listen to those goodies [:)]

One of my all time favourite Irish song "The Contender" written by Jimmy McCarthy around 1983,and performed by many including Finbar Wright, Christy Moore and Tommy Fleming, was a song about Jack Doyle.

We should start a thread for no hit wonders. This is a local band from when I was a kid, my friend's older brother was in it. How does this stuff find its way to you tube?

The Beach Boys, 'Pet Sounds'. Classic albums night here as I'm having a 'sort out my files evening'. Was going to play SES Jutland, but with another update of their third rate Steam clone it's refusing to run again (for the third time in a week [:@]). Maybe 'Abbey Road' next, and then must get some shut-eye.
