what can we DC players expect: new scenarios? patches? or a new DC title?

I believe Vic is planning on working on a new DC release after Advanced Tactics Gold is released. However, he has stated before that the new game would be backward compatible with Warsaw to Paris. I don't know the mechanism for how the new game will work with the current one though.
