As long as I say you must buy DW/ROTS first, then it is safe to say also buy Star Ruler on sale for $10 on Impulse right now. It's different in a good way and is constantly being improved. Just my opinion, but $10 is nothing for this game. Enjoy.

I never really got into StarRuler. Kinda wish I hadn't have bothered with it. It's been a couple of months now - has it improved dramatically in recent times or are the improvements more of a 'tweak'?

I bought it on GG, but check the forums and there's a new patch every week or two. Again, for anyone who doesn't have it, $10 is a bargain.

Is it really all that good yet? I bought it a while ago just to fund a developer who ran out of money to see what he'd eventually come up with, but whenever I've fired it up it seemed pretty rough.
