Barge TF Mission vs Transport TF Mission Question

I apologize if these questions have been handled in earlier posts. After scrolling through about 25 pages I had not seen anything and was beginning to go cross eyed.

What is the difference between 1) a Barge TF mission and 2) a Transport TF Mission ?

When would it be more beneficial to use a Barge mission vs a Transport mission ?

Iirc no substantive difference other than barge tfs restrict ships types that are allowed into them.

Barge tfs are good for resupplying bases in contested airspace.
