Do you have these old manuals?

Post by rsitaly »

I'm an old Harpoon computer player since many years ... now I'm unable to find 3 old files (if I remember well they were part of HARPOON 97 manuals); if someone has them please send me a message to :

robertosilvait@libero.it

These 3 files (manuals) were the documentation of the famous HARPOON DESIGNER'S SERIES:

HARPOON DESIGNER'S SERIES I
HARPOON DESIGNER'S SERIES II
HARPOON DESIGNER'S SERIES III

These manuals detailed any scenario found in these series and I love to have them again!

Thanks in advance!

Your welcome. I had asked Uncle Harpoon about including these in a 'Super manual' or such, I also want to get the rights to the Harpoon Battlebook but have yet to hear back from the publisher.

Great idea to have also the BATTLEBOOK in electronic format ... another good one (because teaches the player about the naval warfare) is the OFFICIAL STRATEGY GUIDE for HARPOON 2.
Both books are still available but to have them in PDF is a wonderful idea!
Hope you'll be able to do that ... they should be from the same publisher (Prisma Games).

I have them both in Hard Copy. As for getting them in PDF...well that is a bit more of a challenge.

Are they worth getting hold of ?
The Battlebook seems to be fairly available and inexpensive 2nd hand... the Harpoon 2 book looks like its available in the US but the shipping costs start adding up for the UK. I'd be glad to know how decent it is before committing...

PS, you can get a BattleBook by getting a hold of a full Challengers edition of Harpoon. I had a 2nd copy and didn't know it :)
