In Spring 1944 the Red Army is advancing on every front. But now in August 1944 there is still no major breackthrough in the South and the Germans have a considerable force on the South.
In the Kishinev Operation they plan to cross the Dniester River and destroy the South Ukraine Army Group. All is set up for the final chapter on the Balkans.

Cast the Axis out of the Balkans:

Russia - Kishinev 1944

Russian forces starting to cross the Dniester:

Autum 1941, Northern Russia: Units of the 39th Panzer Corps and the 28th Army Corps have crossed the Volkhov River and pushed back 4th Soviet Army and parts of the 52nd Soviet Army. Despite the lack of sufficient supply the German Units are ordered to attack and conquer the city of Tikhvin. The Oberkommando hopes to link up with the Finns, but the flanks of the German front become more and more exposed.

Fight against the weather, your supply and even the Russians to get to Tikhvin:

Germany - Tikhvin 1941

Coming up next on the Eastern Front : Storming Leningrad 1941. In this fictional scenario 4. Panzer Group and VIII. Fliegerkorps stick with Army Group North instead of being transfered to Army Group Center. Your mission will be to break the defense and conquer the town.
The screenshots show aircraft units deployed for the attack looking toward the city far away and the intro screen (German text):
