Post by SeanD »

The award-winning WWII strategy series is now available at a reduced price!

Matrix Games and Panther Games (www.panthergames.com) are thrilled to announce the entire Panther Games lineup is getting a permanent price reduction.
  • Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge is now available at a permanently reduced price of $59.99 (Download) / $69.99 (Physical) a reduction from $79.99/$89.99 for $20 in savings.
  • Conquest of the Aegean is now available for $39.99 (Download) / $49.99 (Physical) a reduction from $59.99/$69.99 for $20 in savings.
  • Highway to the Reich is now available for $19.99 (Download) / $29.99 (Physical) a reduction from $49.99/$59.99 for $30 in savings.
The price reductions are particularly exciting for Panther Games’ newly released Battles from the Bulge which has been hailed as “flawless,” “comprehensive” and “extremely innovative” by critics.

David Heath, Director of Operations at Matrix Games, said “More wargaming for less buck, there’s never been a better reason to hop behind the general’s desk and start planning your attack! Panther Games has a stellar lineup of products and these price reductions give all WWII strategy fans a great reason to jump in to this venerable series.”

About Battles from the Bulge

Acclaimed developer Panther Games brings us to the bitter cold of Western Europe during the Winter of 1944 with Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge. Although the Battle of the Bulge is ground that has been visited by wargamers before, it has never been done with this level of fidelity and historical accuracy. The most advanced and realistic model of command decision-making implemented to date in a commercial wargame, combined with thorough historical research on the battlefields and forces involved in this campaign sets Command Ops: Battles from the Bulge apart from the competition.

About Conquest of the Aegean

Conquest of the Aegean takes you to the early years of World War II, to fight over the ancient battlefields of Greece, Crete and even Malta. In the shadows of Mount Olympus in Greece, Allied forces struggle to halt the blitzkrieg German advance. On Crete, beleaguered German paratroopers fight to hold Maleme airfield until reinforcements can arrive. Malta, long a thorn in the side of the Axis, is finally tested against invasion in two hypothetical scenarios.

About Highway to the Reich

Take command and with the aid of the world's most advanced wargame engine fight the battle and change history. Lead Parachute Regiments in daring assaults to seize vital bridges, send mighty Armored Divisions into the attack and wield entire Infantry Corps in a race against time. Reshape history in one of the many historical battles covering all major actions of the Market Garden operation or salvage victory from disaster in one of the hypothetical "what-if" encounters. Create your own maps with our Map Maker utility. You can modify an existing scenario or design your own battle using the Scenario Maker utility.

seems the permanent price reduction didn't last long :)

as they have all gone back up now, yes it's a 2011 post, but permanent to me means forever[X(]

or has someone forgot this post is still here[8|]

or they just haven't converted very well to sterling maybe, as for an old game they still seem quite high in price, wouldn't mind the complete set to add to my collection as well
