Troops moving off planet- unwanted!

Hi! Newbie here. I love this game but I can't find a way to "lock" troops into staying put on a certain colony. My ships automatically pick up troops and move them around. I know I could set all my troop carrying ships to manual but I would like to suggest a better solution: have a "garrison" button on the troop screen that instructs troops to remain at a specific colony location. If anyone knows of a way to do this with the current game design please let me know. Thanks! Lance.

Good point Lance. Make a post in the Master Wishlist for
this one. Elliot might be able to get this in the next
update.

I'm pretty sure that there have already been requests to be able to set colonies to minimum levels to avoid just this. :/
