Crash when starting battle in v 5.60.50b

Post by blazej »

Hi,

I'm having a similar problem to the one described recently.

I started the (grand) campaign using the original release of LSA. Today I've upgraded the game to the latest patch, I've played through one battle, but the next battle (Groesbeek Heights South) crashes after the "Germans Attack" screen.

To what e-mail address should I send the saved game file?

Best,
Michał

Actually Michal you can PM it to me or attach it to a post in this thread. DO NOT use the "Fast Reply" windo to reply if you do that. You must use the "post reply" button in order to make an attachment. Also you must ZIP the file prior to attaching it. Please ask if you need further instruction on doing that.

Received. Thanks! We'll look into it.

Some other details that might be helpful:

is this during single player operation or were you playing against a human opponent?
Did you make any unit selections in your battlegroup?

It was a solitaire campaign. No, I did not make any selections this time, but I did the first time, and it also crashed. After the first time I tried three or four times, without changing anything, just clicking Next, Next, Next - and it crashed every time...

Mmhh. As it stands i haven't completed a single GC or custom campaign due to this error. Frustrating since this is pretty much the best remake of the series yet.

I know i shouldn't ask but is the full patch on the horizon anytime soon?

It's frustrating for all of us.

This release certainly has the most potential of any of the releases due to added feature list.

I have finished 3 GC's  (2 v AI and one H2H)  tt.asp?forumid=835

I don't upgrade mid GC when BETA patches are released and have found the game very stable ie. very few crashes.

I know this can be difficult as new fixes are welcome, but you have to decide whether you want to beta test at the bleeding edge or enjoy playing the game.

I just reached the same point with my own H2H GC using 5.60.50b BETA patch

Had to go down the beta patch path as retail release was a problem... but now ... ech!

Did have a good GC with 21b BETA patch.
