password to manual and update problem

The Game manual for the downloaded version of the game demands a password, which I do not have. Had the same problem with Gary Grigsby's Eagle Day to Bombing the Reich. Tried my serial number but no go.....any suggestions?

Also, been trying to use the game updater for this game. It says there are updates, but just hangs forever when i run the updater.
Once again, any suggestions?
