Guadalcanal Allied Player Wanted

Post by MikeS4269 »

We (yes, two of us) are currently looking for an opponent who will play the Allied forces in a GC game. My partner and I both live in Singapore and just played the GC game vs each other for the last few months. We are relatively new players and learned a lot of good things. We are now debating starting a full campaign as partners on the Japanese side. We decided that we wanted a final practice run and a chance to work out the kinks before making the final plunge. I personally want to make sure we can coordinate replies well and this will help us test this.

As such, we are looking for an understanding partner with a good sense of humor who may or may not want to make this their primary game.

Two day turns
Fixed reinforcement schedule
Minimum five turns per week (we should be able to do daily between two of us)

We hope to keep an AAR and will openly share most of our discussions there, so ask for no peaks on that thread until the game is over. I personally want a separate joint thread with the opponent for mutual banter and friendly rib pokes.

As the Japanese, we expect to be on the receiving end of many of those! [;)]

Pls email if interested. We need one final week for prep time.

This thread is still open. We plan on doing our full campaign using two day turns and need to continue to practice with them. We also hope to finish this game within 2010. [:)]. We feel that play styles vary between one, two, and three day turns.

Sorry just noticed this lately.  I'm also living in Singapore.
Intrested in playing Guadalcanal if you're still open.
Haven't played GC in PBEM but maybe I can play the Allied as well.  I'm not too experienced.
But I'm fine if you guys are fully "booked already".
Thanks.
