Is it un-ethical?

Post by Brigz »

After reading a recently locked thread, I had to wonder....do people actually start and reply to threads just to boost their posting count?[&:]

Oh look...my count just went up by 1.[;)]

I started that thread and dont understand why it was locked. There was nothing political about it.It seemed more along the lines of a current event/news story thread than political discussion. There was not mention of who is right or wrong,it was a news story that i found hard to beleive thats all.I apologize if anyone was offended by this. There was a recent thread about North/South Korea tension, thats seems more of a political thread in my opinion.

The North/South Korea thread was relevant to military history and wargaming, whereas discussing a protest of a political summit is not. We generally stay away from anything political unless it has historical/wargaming significance and even then current events can be tricky to discuss.

birdlander,
I wasn't accusing you. Sorry if you thought that. I just started this thread because I was amused at the turn your thread took. And I think Eric explained the reason he locked the thread.

(In replying to this thread, any increase to my posting total is purely coincidental.)

Some do as a light hearted joke , but as we've seen there’s always that one hippie that embraces the opportunity to take pot shots from the mosque.

And here is one right here. What's with the "mosque" reference? Is it linked to this topic in any way? No....thought not! But +1 to me and you because of your post - thx Sarge.

Well, just in case the mods think this is a waste of bandwidth and decide to lock it, the last poster on this thread will win the title of Honorary Post Wh*re Champion.
