Carrier air group transfers

Post by Stvitus2002 »

How tolerant is AE to Carrier air group transfers? Will it cause problems
somewhere down the line? In the old WITP, it was considered a bad idea.
I would like to offload a few CAG's to shore bases for training purposes.
Suggestions?

I've had no issues adding, sutracting, or temporarily off-loading

Training carrier units on land bases then transfering them back to carriers has worked fine for me too. Could be me but they seemed to train faster on land.

True but there is a chance they will loose their 'carrier trained' status & downgrade to 'carrier capable' - that has happened to me after moving the Hosho's units ashore for 3 months!
