Who is running the company?

Post by kingwanabee »

Seriously. Where does the buck stop? Who is the CEO? Does Matrix have the controlling interest in the new company? I'm a hardcore customer of Matrix, and I've built up a trust for the people who run this place. I'm hoping that doesn't change.

I was a happy customer of WAMU until they failed and were bought out by Chase Bank. I hope that isn't what's happened here! Please clarify the merger details. Thanks

It would be nice to know how the reorganization will look.

The interview was good and answered a lot of the questions I had in my mind. Thanks and good luck with the merger!

Erik -

No disrespect intended, but the interview does not answer the questions I asked in the first post. When the going gets tough, who will be making the final decisions for the new company, you or them?

As it says in the interview, we'll be making those together.

Kinwanabee, whoever controls the most stock in the new holding company will be making the final decisions. If the merger paperwork isn't private, you can probably request a copy from some local government bureaucrat and find out everything you need for whatever reason.

lol! Well it's not like I'm losing sleep over the merger!

Maybe ownership is exactly 50/50? I'm not sure how that arrangement works when disagreements arise. Oh well, best of luck with the new company. [:)]

In a merger, it is imprtant that management, stops the "US" v "THEM" mentality of some staff.

It has been stated the web sites will remain separate. I can guess one of the web sites will be moved to the other server to cut costs.

Then at some later date, the web sites will merge to cut costs further.
