Is the galaxy the same size no matter how many stars are there?

Post by HsojVvad »

I have fiddled with a few settings, and I come to belive the galaxy is the same size, no matter how many stars you have in the game. It's always 10X10.

I have been playing with 100 stars right now, since I like the great distances between stars. I tried a 1200 star game (or what ever the highest setting for stars is) and found the distances between stars too short.

So I just want to make shure, is the galaxy size the same no matter what setting you have the stars at?

Yeah i think so, at least thats my observation after messing with my galaxy backdrop mod and loading-reloading new maps all the time. The stars always seem to be the same size in relations to the rest of the map.
And i agree, the distance on 1200 star games are soooooooo short. Well, on Spiral galaxies anyway, scattered works well.
