What ever happened to that old chatroom...

I remember back in the day there used to be a chatroom one could get into from the Matrix site. It seemed like every couple weeks or so there was always some sort of promotional event where developers would say, pop in on a Friday and there'd be a 2 hour conference or so with Q&A, etc...

I'm wondering what ever happened to that? I would have gone to a lot more, but usually I was stuck in some war-game continue with someone and often would forget until it was too late [:@]
