Filler Names

Eagle Day to Bombing of the Reich is a improved and enhanced edition of Talonsoft's older Battle of Britain and Bombing the Reich. This updated version represents the best simulation of the air war over Britain and the strategic bombing campaign over Europe that has ever been made.

ORIGINAL: Ryan Jackson

If it's not too late...

Ryan Jackson as an American pilot.  Preferrably flying a Thunderbolt, but I'm not picky.

since your not picky, I need some pilots for the 12th, so put you in the 33rd FG, flying P-40F's, will upgrade to the P-38

(I got lots of P-47 pilots for the VIIIth, and to put you in the IXth, would mean a long delay before you showed up)

Hard Sarge,

In Dec 2006 you put me in as a PO in 92 Squadron - I think this may be for BTR.

If I am not in BOB and any places still available could you please also add me as a British FP in BOB.

Many thanks

overall, would have to say, we will be on hold here for the release, I can still add people to the game, but that would be for the patch, or if something screwy happens

Well I'm already in BTR too but if there is still room in BoB in one of the ME 109 units please add me to it. I don't mind if it will be in a later patch.

ANONYMIZED

As you already mentioned the release, sounds we are quite close to it or?

But if you could add my dad, G.L. Sweeney Jr. I would be most thankful, he passed away 20 years ago, served tail end of the war.

Thanks

This is cool! Had I known all about this game and thread months ago I would have added my request to it.

If you're still thinking of adding names to the patch I'd like to add my dad, a WW2 vet in the US Army Air Corps; Anthony William. He was in the 3rd Airforce (which was stationed only in the eastern US), but if he had transferred he would have preferred flying the P-38 if he had the chance.

Michael D Knight (prefer Aussie)

On the subject of pilots I couldn't see...I was reminded on the Australian cricketer Keith Miller. Not sure what squadron he was in but he flew Mosquitos'

When asked how he coped with pressure in test cricket, he replied.

Pressure? That's not pressure. A Messerschmidt up your a***; that's pressure...

My wife's grandfather, who has already passed away, was a radio operator on a B-17, 8th air force, 381st BG, 535 SQ.  He mostly flew in the Stage Door Canteen, according to his journal.  I just got to read his journal for the first time the other week.

His name is James P. Fitzgerald.

I'm sure you probably have a lot for the 381st, but I thought I would throw this out there if there is room.  I don't remember the name of the pilot he flew with, but he did list it in the journal if you want it.  It might be a week or two before I could get it though.

I met a bombadier a few months ago who sold me his book An Innocent at Polebrook. In the book he mentions pilot 2nd LT. Harry Johnston. Flew a B-17G with the 351st BG during summer to early fall 1944.

If you could find a hole for Ryan Vandenberg (American) preferably in a P38 unit or one that upgrades to it, but I'm not picky.

Thanks!
