1.6 Game hangs on Naval Phase

1.6 Game hangs on Naval Phase

Hi I am playing the 1939 campaign as germany.

I had no problems with the game. Then in April 1941 I captured Malta. Then tried to send more troops by sea transport. The game hangs for 5 mins on the Submarine carrier phase. Then the next turn it hung for about 15 mins on the naval phase. At which point I shut down the game from task manager. Here are the last few lines from the console out report.


Will now try running the saved game with the affinity set to one processor.

With affinity set to one processor it appears stuck on the Submarine carrier phase.

It's hard to tell what is the reason, your save works fine when I test it. Is this happening all the time for you?

Ok tested a few more turns on.

A couple of my invasion fleets were intercepted when I tried to move them into the central med. And destroyed. Then on a further turn, there was no enemy fleet in the central med. So I could move my invasion fleet into the med. Next turn I tried my landing on malta.

The attempt to intercept the invasion fleet screen appeared the game then hung again. So I rapidly clicked the left mouse button (As suggested to some else who had problems with the naval part of the game)
After about 30 seconds it moved to the next screen which was the naval battle and the invasion fleet was destroyed.

Further update

I went back to a saved game for Feb 1941 and sent an invasion forces into North sea. Invasion was attempted and the Invasion intercept came up fine and it went through the whole naval phase fine for 3 attempted invasion landings. All invasion fleets were sunk.

The only difference was that the malta landing was on a hex that I had already occupied with another unit and had moved away from.
