I love this game too! I'm just not a fan of the manual. I think I've learned nearly as much about game mechanics here on the forums as I have reading the manual. [:(]

I had one of those about Chikuma; she had originally been listed as being sunk by a Mk6 mine but then that listing disappeared off the 'ships sunk' screen.

It's got to be the detail that you find here. You can pick almost any area of the game and find some facet that you've never heard of before. I spent a half an hour googling "Overvalwagon" from the Dutch cavalry regiment. Another hour looking at the armed merchant cruisers after seeing the 6 x 6 inch guns on the HMAS Westralia... I could go on and on.

I had a report that Argonaut was sunk off Wake Island on Dec 9, and I was upset. I was happy to learn the next day that she was alive and well. Apparently my signals officer mistyped the unit code...

My Combat Save from turn #1 showed that Force Z had been completely obliterated. When I started the turn and went to check, the entire TF was unscathed! [X(]

The main fleet appears to be in the western Mandated Islands area. A new 16-inch battleship, the Kii, has now joined the fleet.

Ah no, that one's real. (War Cabinet, Weekly Resume(No. 129) of the
Naval, Military and Air Situation from 0700 February 12th, to 0700 February 19th, 1942). ;)

I have sunk the BB North Carolina twice with aerial torpedos and had it turn up again to sink the Zuiko and Junyo in a surface action. A very aggressive Marie Celeste.

Don't you dare!! You have too much explaining to do and you have yet to begin in the mod arena (at least in earnest).[:)]
