X-PT Boat

Post by Micke II »

Like indestructible X-men we have X PT-boats.
These british PT boats were based in Hong-Kong.
After the fall of the town these PT remained in the hex without moving. Air attacks were uneffective.
An attack of a japanese TF dislodged them but with the loss of a DD.
These PT-boats are now in the middle of the chinese sea without fuel and torpedoes but an interception of a japanese CA TF failed. PT boats opened first fire, japanese ships after a long while answered, but missed and decide to withdraw.
I thought that a ship with 0 fuel was like a sitting duck. It does not seem to be the case.
The PT boats in AE, like in WITP, remains a problem.

Well, if those PTs were under human control, they'll quickly accumulate sys damage and sink if without a fuel. but as AI gets a bit help- and help is that his PTs do not accumulate sys damage- they'll never sink. A bit gamebreaking and totally unneeded help -brings more problems than it helps...

The PT issue I am told will be addressed in the first patch.
