Hard limit on A/C Engines

Post by Shark7 »

Added some new engine types in the editor. If I add them before the last official DB entries, those engines dissapear in the game. If I add the new ones after those, they don't work right.

The conclusion I draw is that there is either an undocumented hard limit on Japanese A/C engines in game, or I have done something terribly wrong when entering the data (and I copied an existing engine then changed the name and upgrade to make the new devices). Screens follow:

Max 20 engine types. Don't ask me why but there's a good reason for it apparently.
Where's the Any key?

Well that explains it then, so it wasn't an operator error in this case. [:D]

I guess the german planes I added will have to get Mitsu or Naka engines.
