Hi guys, been a while since I last posted on tracker and it only keeps getting better. Still got my problem with java running out of space occasionally but I think thats more my machine. There is one small problem witth he new version and that is as the Allies I can see Japanese R&D items in the alerts. I now know my opponents going to get the Peggy in 9/44.

Hi Damian and Floyd, a small calculation error:

Note that the Res +/- days column is calculated correctly.

Delete the trackerdb.* files.
Copy the pwsdll.dll file from the game folder to the WitPTracker folder.
Try running the WitPTracker.bat again.

Any idea about this? Is this a data field wrap around?

Thanks Bliztk,
I'm sure Floyd will pop his head in here sometime and consider the request...

I do have a concern that we are displaying too much information on the screens already, especially in the areas of production (air, land, sea) and without being able to work out preferences and save them ... I'm wondering if I'm giving information overload to some of you ...

Should I continue the way I'm going, or try to reduce the amount of columns / information ?

I like it with as much information displayed as possible. We can adjust columns if need be.

Might be a really dumb question, as usual[:'(]

Does Tracker work with WPO if I change the directory addresses???

Jeff, I doubt it very much, the file is probably a similar format to WITP, but if new data points have been used or the data has changed then it will probably fail or cause many errors, but let us know ... I'd be interested to see, and maybe it has limited functionality. Use a fresh install and try to load a turn.

I don't own the game and I doubt Floyd does either, so Is WPO just a big mod or am I selling it way short?

Cheers

At present, no, it does not.

Damian,

Thanks, I'll give it a bash.

I think its a bit more than a mod, I know some changes were made but I think these appeared in later WITP patches.

I'll keep you posted.

Hi Floyd,

could you please explain how the assault strength from LCUs is calculated.
Thank you for your effort.

I hope you will be able to support AE in the future.

Marc -

The Assault Strength is calculated based on the number of undisrupted squads, AFVs and engineers, adjusted by a factor of the fatigue level. I don't have it spelled out, but I can send you the chunk of code if you can read Java...

As for AE support, please be patient.

Hi Floyd,

that would be of great help to me if you could send me the code.

I hope for the best regarding AE support.

Hi Damian,

I'm planing my war in Access. It's in my opinion at the moment the most flexible way of filtering data and it is quite useful to have the assault value [:)]
Your tool is excellent too but I'm missing the possibility to enter user data. Something like "operation" or "remark". (I requested something like that in the past).
It is in my opinion most helpful to show for example all units that or planned for operation Malaya, DEI, ... .

By the way. Will it be possible with the AE Version of tracker to get the data via the CSV export interface? [&:]

to Floyd:
Thank you for the code.
It was hard enough for me to decrypt it, because you forgot to add some remarks to your script [8|]
But finally I got it after about 3 hours and cross checking with WitP.
I have by the way no Java knowledge but my VBS and PHP experience did help me.

Thank you both a please keep up to good work.
