how much extra will it cost to get just one of those manuals airfreighted instead of stuck on that lousy Chinese tugboat???

Or even better, forget the manual - just let me download the game and start playing. I can read the manual whenever it arrives!!

AE will be ready when it’s ready, when it’s compete, when it’s a finished package, and that’s when I want it. I know that this last leg is hard on us all, but I am confident that my patience (all our patience) will be rewarded.

Time for some sage words of Vulcan wisdom. [;)]

"After a time, you may find that 'having' is not so pleasing a thing,
after all, as 'wanting'. It is not logical, but it is often true."

Besides, no real man ever reads a manual. Remember that gas grill you tried to put together last summer? Came out looking like a strawberry planter but still cooks a great burger.[:-]

I'd agree. In the early 1980's an experienced software developer once told me that the measure of a good piece of software was inversely proportional to the thickness of the manual.

The eventual manual for the system we were working on was 7 pages, of which 2 were how to log in. He obviously hadn't come across WitP/AE.
