Question on Gun Attachments

Post by tbriert »

I feel stupid asking this question, but I havent been able to figure out or find anywhere in the manual how you go about attaching scopes, lasers, and other goodies onto your guns.

Any help on how to do this would be appreciated.

rightclick on the rifle to open up the rifle info box, then click on the attachment and drag it to the rifle, there are boxes under the rifle, if they are greyish, you can place it, if they are redish, you can't

something like that, it is very easy, once you do it

Thanks Sarge. I knew I must have been doing something stupid. I was trying to drag the attachment into the red boxes, since they were the ones that changed color, so I figured it belonged there.

I am liking this game and feel it was well worth the money, but the documentation could have been better.

This is a related comment to the gun attachments: it is absurd how quickly the gun attachments wear out. Consistenly my scopes seem to get broken very quickly. Is this because I'm putting them on weapons for which they are unsuitable and moving parts are damaging the scopes?

Is it realistic that a silencer goes to ZERO% after firing just a few rounds from certain weapons? HK 417 I think but then with other weapons (HK G3A3) a 100% silencer losses quality much more slowly?? I suppose it could just be random, but maybe some sort of value that influences how quickly a weapons wears out a silencer is coded in?
