No, but that's only because the new Linux-box-to-be is in bits on the study floor. Prospects for success are high as long as the machine has enough grunt. If it doesn't, go the VMWare route instead.

I can't speak for Linux/WINE, but I do have it running in OS X under Parallels, works fine. Might want to check Transgaming and Crossover Games for tweaking info.

Probably unnecessary. Wacht am Rhein worked fine on WINE; no tweaking required. The only problems related to underpowered hardware. The Longest Day should do the same.

I'm considering a mac Purchase for my Family PC.

Can you shed any light on how Parallels works with Close Combat.

Is it free?

Do you need a copy of windows?

Any special settings?

Any considerations for H2H play?

thanks

Parallels is a Software to buy. Fusion should do the same but costs money too.

And yes you need a Windows XP copy too.

For H2H play I would suggest to use 'bridged' network settings.

No idea about any special settings for the MAC and Parallels/Fusion.

Mmh, since there's no demo available, any ideas how I could test it? Btw, does it run well under Vista (in case I can't make it to run under Linux).
