Hi!

I guess it depends a lot of your interest. Any special era/conflict you like?

Some general recommendations of games i love that you can find around here woudl be:
- Airborne Assault Conquest of the Aegean (if you liked HHTR style) This is the next and much improved game on the series. The new one, Battles form the Bulge should be finished pretty soon [&o]

- AGEOD games like America Civil War or Wars in America. Elegant, deep and great looking historical games with simultaneous turns. Both have demos you can try.

- TOAW III: a classic with a nearly infinite number of scenarios

Cheers!

I have UV, HttR and CaW (new) as well as HoI Doomsday.
Are you looking for similar games? If so, there already are sequels in the works on these forums.

BTW, what OS are you installing on your new machine?

From your current list of games it looks like you are a WW2 buff. There are many games that fall into that category here. If you prefer continuous time engines (like HoI & HttR) then that whittles it down quite a bit.

If I'm correct about your preferences then I strongly recommend Conquest of the Aegean (CotA)from the same developers as HttR (but an upgraded system). They (Panther Games) have a new game about the Battle of the Bulge, but it has not been released yet.

If you want a break from WW2 action and want to try a turn based WEGO type game the newly released CoG EE (Napoleonic) would be a very good choice-great game with lots of detail. This would be more than enough to keep you busy until the Bulge battles game is released.

Banking establishments are more dangerous than standing armies.

Try one of the 'Tin Soldiers' games for a change from WW2, and re-hashes of decade old games. The TS games are superbly designed, the 'tabletop' look is great and the AI very, very good.
