World of Warcraft (Level 80 Mage, Ner'Zhul) and Rock Band 2 mostly. Though I also play DotA, IL-2, Left 4 Dead, Empire: Total War, Dawn of War 2, Day of Defeat, and Super Smash Brothers: Brawl. Basically whatever my friends are playing.

The only other games currrently on my HD are M2TW and the original Railroad Tycoon. Neither one sees much time. Any non-WitP game time in the last 2.5 years has gone to OGame online. Universe 23, THE THREAD Alliance, of course. [;)][:D]

WPO, and Harpoon classic/97/commanders edition. Then Panzer general 2, Star fleet command 1, and Age of Empires. In that order. [:)]

OMG! [:D]

TOAW, SPWAW, WPO (actualy TOAW and WPO I know what those are)???

Could you spell out your acronyms once? [:D] That is the convention in the academic literature: "hypothalamic-pituitary adrenal axis (HPA) has been now to show increased cortisol secretion when gamers are denied access to War in the Pacific Admiral's Edition (WiTP AE). . ."

ADDIT: Okay a semi-complete list of acronyms so far, and I'll provide a key for those I know:
SPWAW: ??
WPO: War Plan Orange (Matrix game based on WiTP engine)
TOAW: The Operational Art of War (Matrix Game)
UV: Uncommon Valor (predecessor of WiTP, right?)
CM2: ??
AOS2: ??
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: ?? (or maybe that is not an acronym?)
ETW: ??
CM: Normandy: What does CM stand for?
IL-2 1946: IL-2 Sturmovik 1946 another game by Ubi-Soft (same maker of Silent Hunter 4 it seems) OMG, this is crack . .
DoTA: ??
M2TW: ??

Did I miss any?

Can't believe nobody has mentioned "Red Orchestra" It is the only shooter out for WWII fanboys. Not a Quakefest but calls for serious group tactics on the Eastern front. You can also drive a tank with up to three crew members, man a MG42 and have to change out the barrel before you burn it up, or just use the bayonet, and there are two amazing mods out that take it to North Africa and the Western front. All the balistics are real. Trouble is, the maker Tripwire never got the promotion out and most shooterboys play the horrible "Call of Doodie". Actually has been a boon for Red Orchestra. A small but serious adult community with no cheaters and hackers. PC only-not made for the console which has limited the number of kiddies and morons playing. Check it out. They frequently offer it for ten bucks on steam.

Like John, I love the HPS Civil War series. Just got Musket and Pike which is based on the same engine. It is very good.

Still love to put Diablo II into the machine and play solitare. A classic

IL2 is almost ten years old and is still the king of flight sims. Where else can you fly an IAR 80?

Company of Heros is a fun diversion.

And Combat Mission Afrika Korps. I still play that by email. Wish they would update it. Still a hell of a game.

A traditional cardboard counter game.

Federation and Empire.

I wish they would make this into a computer game. I used to play on the Startfleet Battles tournament circuit in the late 80s and early 90s.

Federation and Empire was great. [&o] I still have it in abox in my attic

I've enjoyed quite a few games in my time between WitP turns.

Right now, I'm playing "Oblivion". I've enjoyed the other Bethesda titles (Elder Scrolls and Morrowind), and frankly, they just get better and better. WitP and downtime on Obvlivion (not much of that, I'll commend Bilbow for getting turns out (too) quickly!).

I've also played:
UV (pre WitP)
Pacific Fighters.
Midevil Total War (had Rome, loaned it out, and never got it back).
Civ 3.
Age of Empires.
Temple of Elemental Evil.
Neverwinter Nights.
WW2O.
Asheron's Call (original).
EQ (original).

And a few scale models (mostly WW2 planes and ships).

Anyone here try X3:TC (X3: Terran Conflict)? It's essentially a sandbox space flight sim with a massive universe and a semi-tacked on plot. It's been my most recent addiction while I wait for AE.
Yamato, IMO the best looking Battleship.

Ok, not a as a standalone computer game but online playable version on the SFBOL servers. It's a sanctioned fan product so work is slow, but I've seen progress.

I should say that my first love and still favorite game system in the world is AD&D Second Edition--Skills and Powers. It is not what I describe as 'dumbed down' D&D. Love Role Playing games! My friends and I created a game loosely based on Twilight 2000 where Aliens invade Earth and--unlike Independence Day--humanity loses. Phoenix is a blast! Try to imagine fighting Aliens with high tech weapons when you start with an M-16!

Anyway...since children RPGs have become a thing of the past. Perhaps once my boys get older I can play again...

Cool. It would make a great turned based PBEM game.

I play a lot of different games, just rarely get time to put more than a couple hours in each week lately (children are the scourge of the planet).

Lately I've been putting time into:
AGEod's American Civil War (latest tweaks to AI have made it very tough for me)
GG War Between the States (CTD's on my computer tho).
Unreal Tournament 3
CM:SF

I've put a hold on WitP until AE comes out. It's killing me because I finally hit the Japs hard near PM, and I think I splashed 2 of their carriers (hasn't shown on the ships sunk page yet and I couldn't loiter because there was another CV TF nearby).

Matrix's Guns of August (I'm a WWI buff). Also, occasionally, Grisby's World at World: A World Divided. After that, it's boardgames, both Eurogames like Carcassonne, Settlers of Catan, Railroad Tycoon the Boardgame, etc., and wargames, primarily CDGs such as Paths of Glory, Pursuit of Glory, etc., plus opertional games such as Clash of Giants I and II, and occasionally Memoir '44.
